The two releases on the ETERNA and Deutsche Grammophon labels impressively demonstrate that music is not bound by borders: Both were recorded in May 1973, each on the other side of the Berlin Wall, which existed in Germany from 1961 to 1989. Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" was produced in the GDR, Dvorak's "From the New World" in the FRG. Both master tape copies have been published by Horch House in impressively good recording and production quality. 

Die beiden Veröffentlichungen der Label ETERNA und  Deutsche Grammophon zeigen eindrucksvoll, dass Musik nicht an Grenzen gebunden ist: Beide wurden im Mai 1973, jeweils auf der anderen Seite der Berliner Mauer, die von 1961 bis 1989 in Deutschland bestand, aufgenommen. Mussorgskis “Bilder einer Ausstellung” wurde in der DDR produziert, Dvoraks “Aus der Neuen Welt” in der BRD. Beide Masterbandkopien sind beim Herausgeber Horch House in einer bestechend guten Aufnahme- und Produktionsqualität erschienen.
